Accessible Therapy

Attend your appointment from your own space with telehealth therapy. Using a secure platform, we ensure that you're always able to make it to therapy, even when you can't get to the office. With unconventional hours such as Saturdays and evenings, therapy has never been more accessible.

In Person Therapy

Nothing beats a face-to-face connection, and my door is always open for you to come to have therapy in person. Bring your coffee or your lunch, kick back on the comfy couch, and let's get to work! Art supplies, coloring books, games, and fidgets are always available. My goal is to make you as comfortable as possible during out time together!

Individual Therapy

Give yourself an hour a week that's truly just about you. Whether it's exploring your past or your present, individual therapy gives you the space to reconnect with yourself.

Couples Therapy

Relationships take work. I provide a safe and neutral space to do that work, together. Whether you're struggling with communication, parenting, building trust, or just need a safe space to have the difficult conversations, Bright Spot can help you on your path to reconnect with each other.

Specialties

Reproductive & Perinatal Mental Health

This is supposed to be the best time of your life, why does it feel so hard? You decided you’re ready to plan for pregnancy, you’re dealing with infertility, you’re pregnant, you just gave birth, or you’re adjusting to life with a baby (or multiple!). It’s not always easy, and it’s definitely not all snuggles and baby smiles. Anxiety, depression, balancing new roles, feeling let down and overwhelmed are all common during the reproductive and perinatal stages of life, yet no one talks about it. I’m here for you, to support you as you adjust and walk confidently into this stage of life.

Therapy for Teens

School, work, friends, sports, relationships, family,  plans for the future, college decisions…. It’s enough to make your head spin! You have expectations and pressure coming at you from every side of life as a teenager, and it often feels like no one understands you. I’m here to do just that- understand you at the deepest level while supporting you to make good choices and set yourself up for success. And hey, sometimes you just need someone to talk to (that’s NOT your parents)- and I’m here for that!

Life Transitions

Life comes with a lot of changes, and with those changes come tough decisions. Maybe you’re starting a new relationship (or ending one), thinking about a career change, moving, or starting a family. These decisions don’t have to be scary! Let’s talk through them together, weigh your options, and help you to see your path in life more clearly. From there, I’ll walk with you through the process of adjusting to your new reality and becoming confident in your decisions.

What's it like to work with me?

Therapy with me is collaborative- we will work together to accomplish your goals. I pride myself on creating a comfortable, approachable and non judgmental space for you to process life’s challenges.

Your time with me is your one hour out of your busy week to slow down, tune everything else out, and focus on your growth.

I’ll guide you along the way,  following a person-centered and strengths-based approach. I combine evidence-based practices with an energetic, inviting and fun dynamic to support you through your journey.

Therapy shouldn’t be boring, intimidating, awkward or uptight. With me, therapy will be the bright spot of your week.

I have experience working with teens, adults, couples and families. My practice focuses on issues such as compassionate perinatal support, approachable therapy for teenagers, and working through life transitions.

I incorporate treatment methods from several modalities, tailoring treatment to what each individual brings.

Erin is a warm and compassionate presence who keeps her client’s best interest at the forefront of the treatment she provides. She is skilled at walking alongside clients and forming a trusting relationship that is transformational to healing. Erin is collaborative and will provide personalized support to help you overcome challenges and meet your goals.
